Indeed, what is love? (to quote Tia) And how do you recognize it? Sometimes I think I just don't know :( I feel affectionate towards others, but I'm still grappling with whether that's love. Hmm. Margie is a bad person when stressed. I become quite a moody person, and I shut up completely. Pooh pooh, that's not how I usually am!

Humm, by the way, haven't heard from Adhira for quite a while...

Not much news from me. I'm being sad, kind of. A bit depressed with things. Seems like there is not enough time in a day to do everything. (We were planning to slow down earth rotation. The moon will unfortunately have to be kicked farther away from earth to conserve angular momentum... Oh well, the moon is useless anyway. Except that it can be quite pretty sometimes)

"Seeing some of the hormone-driven couples around me (won't mention names, although it doesn't matter because I don't think even Tia knows them) makes me realize that what I want is stability, something meaningful and long-term in my relationships. I had a couple chances to start something with someone, a close friend, a little while back, but I didn't pursue it, things told me I still wanted someone else.. even if I'm not sure that that he even wants me in that way anymore. I guess I realize more than ever that friends are the basis for everything, and if you don't have that, a relationship, no matter how exciting and flirtatious it may be in the beginning (damned lust), if you don't have communication and some kind of connection it doesn't work. A relationship should give you peace, happiness and calmness and I'm trying to get that back in my life :) I'm happy with my current situation, I hope that the wounds (ew, that sounds gross! :P) can heal and that maybe, just maybe, I can have that second chance. I know I made it weird, and I'm sorry. I was caught up in what was happening to me, and didn't care about what I was doing to you :S For that, I'm sorry.

But I know I'm a really awesome girl, and well, I'm feeling a lot happier lately :) Cmon Margie! Haha :D I know I can do this right :P "

I think I'm starting to understand what I want, combined with what the Mudd environment allows, and okay, I think I can work things out. I'm grateful to all my friends (including you guys) for all your/their hugs and cuddles and good advice :P

Grace: Hey, I got the postcard! Thanks a lot!! Seems like its a lot of fun there in Prague. Ballroom dancing! Next time we are all back in Manila, we should go ballroom dancing together somewhere. (Adhira and Tanika: you guys should learn to ballroom-dance too!)

It's a pretty nice Saturday. I haven't done anything productive whatsoever this weekend. We had International Festival today, so I helped out making a banner for the Indonesia-Malaysia booth yesterday and helped serving the food today. It was fun!

I met this Indonesian girl who goes to Claremont McKenna and used to go to JIS. Guess what? She knows one of my elementary-middle school friend, 2 twin friends from my middle school, and 1 friend I know from elementary school. It's such a small world... There is also this New Zealander JIS guy who has lived in Indonesia for 18 years and now goes to Pomona. He speaks Indonesian and probably knows more about Indonesian politics than I do.

Ahh.. it seems like I have to start doing some work at some point today. I hope things are going fine in everyone's world!

So Margie, what are the plans for today?

Bucknell is have its House-party weekend (the lets-get-piss-drunk-and-be-stupid weekend). People started drinking by noon on friday and I am told thi will continue till late sunday night and people will miss classes because of their hangovers on Monday. But there is good music and some nice bands playing so, its not all that bad if you can stand the stench of cheap alcohol...

P.S: Only a month and its summer! This year went by waaay too fast
