wohoo

I'm so glad this year is finally over! Well, not really. I actually really enjoyed everything this year. And knowing that there are one less year left in college is really scary. Have to plunge into the real world very soon, and no more of the happy-freshmen feeling.

Thanks a lot for reading + commenting on my blog, Tani :) (and also to Margie and everybody!) Sometimes I'm not sure if I should write this kind of things, but turns out that it's all right :)

Tani: Noo! Actually I really enjoyed reading your LJ. Shallow or not depends on people's interpretation, I guess. I like reading spontaneous blogs with a lot of variety of topics like yours and Margie's.

On death again: Yes, actually I have had that kind of thing about my parents too. I remember in elementary school, we -my parents and I- were talking about the year 2000 (it's just something that's pretty cool; it's no longer 19-something). We were counting years, and how in 2000 I'd be in middle school (sounded very grown-up at that time). I counted and realised that in 2000 my parents would be 40-something year old. And to me, it looked really old, and I was really ... scared(?) thinking about parents getting old. I've seen pictures when they're in college. They still talk about their college experience as though it only happened a few years back. Time goes by really quickly; without realising it, we will be parents too, and our children will be in college talking about growing up, perhaps.

Anyway, I'll stop putting heavy-saddish mood here :P

Margie: Yep, I saw SinCity. It looked to me more like Kill Bill III or something. The techniques in making the movie is really cool; but the story itself... umh.. Good luck studying, Margie. I'll be studying too today... Oh oh, and I want to go swimming too some time. Maybe next week.

Adhira: Yes yes, we want to see pictures with you in it too! By the way, I will be back in Manila around August 8. Margie said we'll only have 2 days to see you! two days??!! We have to plan lots and lots things to do together in that two days!

Grace: Epidemaniac is cool. Disease Girl is funny :D Either way, they're cool names. Tell us when you start the blog!

With me... One exam is down! I finished my discrete math test this morning. I'd been pretty nervous about this exam; really glad that it's over. Still have 3 more to go.

And then 6 weeks of math courses coming up right after final exam week.

And then I'll be a teaching assistant for a math course at CTY, the summer program for middle and high school students that Margie went to. This will be another 6 weeks of math (yumm... maybe). The course is an individually paced one, for 5th and 6th graders.

Glad to hear from all of you guys :)!
